Imola, here i am!

Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari, Imola, my absolutely favourite race track, I love this narrow, fast and difficult track in the Italian Motor Valley.

We woke up at 5.00 am and set off at 6 o'clock from my house near Piacenza in order to avoid traffic jams, we arrived at the racetrack at 7.40 I immediately recognized the hill at Rivazza corner. As we walked my heart was beating faster and faster, we reached Rivazza's lawn entrance, we went in and what I saw afterwards made me speechless

the wonderful Rivazza corners, the most dfficult and most beautyful corners of all the racetrack and it wasn't on telly, or on Project Cars, it was just there in front of me, we walked through the lawn, I could see the downhill part of the track, so frightening because drivers and riders arrive at tremendous speed and they have to brake as further as they can keeping the car, or bike, in the tarmac. They weren't racing, but I could imagine it, I've raced so much time with Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa, Ride 2, I imagined lots of time how it would be, and seeing the track for real was just staggerring.

Secretly, under mu sunglasses a tear came up, I dreamt so many times to be there and finally I was there

"Look, Luca, this is the corner where Richard Hammond driving his Noble M600 lost the control and ended up in the gravel, he was trying to beat the Stig, the delayed the braking as much as he could, but the downhill and the speed made him go out onto the gravel. In this corner, in the same episode Jeremy Clarkson had to slow down because the brakes on his Lamborghini Aventador were overheated and red, here they drove also a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento...it's so real!!!" I explained my memories to my uncle

We decided to move at Acque Minerali's corner, first we thought to see only the Warmups, but then we decided to see also the races

Acque Minerali is my favourite corner because it's really challenging, and I have a technique to overtake or gain advantage when I race in videogames

When the bikes hit the track and passed by, I was in a sort of trance state, again it was so real...the bikes' roar was very loud, in particular the Super Sports's bike

We saw sam good overtakes at Acque Minerali's second corner, the best was made by Randy Krummenacher: the Swiss rider went out of the corner really fast, touching the back wheel of another rider, but nobody fell over.

I was stagged by the power of Johnny Rea, the started from 8th place and lap after lap I saw his bright green Kawasaki nearer to the first position.

it was amazing, Rea gained nearly one second on Davies in about one lap, you'd see that after the second corner, Davies's Ducati was thamed by the electronics, while Rea's Kawasaki was flat out.

Super Sport 300 series' Race was dominated by Ana Carrasco, she's very fast and she rides her Kawasaki easily.

we decided to see the last race (Super Stock 1000) at Rivazza's corner, the bikes arrived from our left breaking hard and as late as they could, then they dashed away at our right leaving a thunder from their exhausts.

I am a hude Aprilia fan, but unfortunately it wasn't a lucky day for Noale's bikes...in SBK Savadori crashed both in the WUP (Caught on camera) and in Race 2; Eugene Laverty was nothing special. I had the opportunity to se Aprilia triumph in Super Stock 1000, it started from the first position, but at about half of the race, a Ducati passed the aprilia at Variante Alta, I saw a great fight at Rivazza 1, but Ducati won the race. The Aprilia arrived 3rd, after a BMW.

You can see a few overtakes, two crashes, some close shots and celebrations. I'm not a professional camera man or photographer,I did my best, these guys are bloody fast and we were quite far.
