In 1986 Porsche began offering the slantnose, or "Flachbau" in German, straight from the factory. The official designation in the UK was Turbo SE and it is also referred to as the flatnose. The Flachbau was the ultimate 930 Turbo, that featured a revised body kit, pop-up headlights and a 330 bhp engine. Costing nearly double the amount of the standard Turbo, the Flachbau is an especially rare car. Before 1986, the Flachbau body option was only offered out of Porsche's customer service department
