Inside the President's £25,000 watch collection
From Seiko's to Seamaster's find out about the 46th President's collection
Joe Biden, who has just become President once joked that he was the poorest man in congress. Today, the same can't be said about him. It is clear the new President has a fond love of watches, considering the large collection that he enjoys showing off. The watches on this list add up to a staggering £25,000 (nearly $35,000).
Apple Watch
when I think about the Apple Watch, three questions always spring to mind: Is it a watch? Is it a computer? Is it a mini iPhone? After owning multiple over five years, I ask myself the same thing. I've not wore an Apple Watch in over a year, I prefer something that lets my phone be my phone and my watch be a time keeper and nothing more. I imagine the President picked an Apple Watch for the same reasons that most people do: It's convenient and practical. However, the chances are Mr. Biden will have to stop wearing the Apple Watch during his time in office, as it could be seen as a security risk: by knowing his exact location at any time. So he'll need to stick to watches from the rest of his collection. This isn't exactly a bad thing as you shall see...

Rolex Datejust
To the untrained eye, the President could easily blend into a crowd. He's not really a showy-offy man. So that would explain his choice of Rolex. He could have had the Rolex Rolex Day-Date (also dubbed the Rolex President), but it may seem slightly too flashy for him. He's a very modest man, even when wearing a Rolex, since he wears the Rolex of the people!

Seiko Alarm Chronograph
As I said (half-jokingly), Joe Biden is a modest man. Nothing shows this more than the choice of watch he wore to deliver his victory speech near the end of last year. He wore a Seiko Alarm Chronograph and you can't be more modest than that - especially when you're a stone's throw away from The Oval Office, he decided to wear a Seiko Alarm Chronograph. Credit where credit's due there.
Vulcain Cricket
The Vulcain Cricket was worn by: Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. This has also been dubbed "The President's Watch" since so many President's have wore them for the best part of 65 years. Many of them were gifts to Presidents, so it would explain why Joe Biden would wear one. He was seen wearing it when he was Vice President, who clearly had aspirations to be President. So why not wear the watch of a President?
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch
The President is commander-in-chief of all branches of the military including Space Force. So why wouldn't the President wear a watch which has been to space? The Omega Speedmaster Professional has to be one of my favourite watches. It's so simple, yet good looking and why wouldn't a President want to have this watch in his collection? The modest commander-in-chief wears one of the best watches ever made. It also doesn't break the bank. Well... it doesn't break the bank too much.

Omega Seamaster
The final watch of President is an Omega Seamaster. This has been associated with James Bond throughout the years. The President isn't quite the same as James Bond. But the Seamaster is the greatest diving watch (in my opinion anyway) and if it is fit for James Bond, then it is fit for a President.

Ooverall, President Biden has a varied and extensive collection of watches. There isn't one watch on this list which I could say that I disliked. I'm sure many others are the same. However, the watches that he owns seems like a safe choice. These are all of the watches I could find on him which still cost over £25,000!

That’s a pretty decent and humble collection for a long time senator, ex-vice president and now president of the USA. I was expecting more bling. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know. Considering his position, I’d have thought he’d have had more flashy watches. People lower down in his admin will have far nicer watches!
I’m of the opinion that one only needs what’s necessary. Why spend on excesses, especially for “luxury” items? There’s a finite amount of resources humanity can exploit, a little prudence never hurt.
you could've bought a good used car out of that lol
Joe Biden is the man! 😎
