IONIQ teases the IONIQ 5 SUV in an epic video
The style is really faithful to the concept car!
The IONIQ 5 electric SUV will be officially presented on February 2nd. One week before the unveiling, the Korean brand is publishing a second video highlighting the vehicle. This is the perfect opportunity to discover new details via a particularly dynamic clip looking like a spy movie.
While the general design of the front end is well known, we can now take a closer look at the headlights, which have a very elaborate design. Indeed, the optics adopt, in addition to a U-shaped light signature, a facade covered with small tiles giving a formidable depth effect. All this should adopt Matrix LED technology offering optimum night-time driving comfort.
The rear section reveals a transparent band containing a myriad of LED dots to create the taillights as well as the vehicle's name. Surrounded by two Azeras and a Palisade, the IONIQ 5 clearly doesn't look that ridiculous in size, especially when compared to the Palisade, which is Hyundai's largest vehicle worldwide.
The other very interesting detail is that for the very first time we see the IONIQ 5's interior in an extremely short sequence. You can particularly notice the seats with their inverted U-shaped headrests. The interior atmosphere is likely to be relaxing and streamlined, as evidenced by the clear ceiling.
