Is a 'poopatrator' targeting BMWs on the Isle of Wight?

BMW owners on the Isle of Wight are having a bit of a shi*ty time at the moment. As the Isle's local newspapers report, there is a 'poopatrator' or rather a group of 'poopatrators' roaming the island targeting unsuspecting cars with the Bavarian roundel on the bonnet.

One BMW owner Amy Ryan returned to her home in Newport to find the bonnet of her BMW covered in faeces. She told the Isle of Wight County Press: "I just don't understand how someone could pull down their pants and lay a mud monkey right on my bonnet."

The shocked resident then phoned the police who informed her that she is the 3rd victim of such an act that week, all of the targeted cars were BMW's. In Cowes (the place of one of the incidents) a whole group of people was spotted defacing a BMW meaning it's likely a whole group rather than just one poopatrator committing the dirty deed.

For Amy it proved to be a troublesome experience in more ways than one, she told the the Isle of Wight County Press: "The children still won't use the car, we have to walk everywhere now."

Isle of Wight is a tiny little island just south of England – it's popular for its beaches, promenades and overall a nice holiday vibe... and quite fittingly it's home to the National Poo Museum. Yup it's not a joke, it exists, and it's on the same Island, albeit a bit further down south, but still.
