Is Bugatti getting ready to unveil a new limited edition hypercar?
Let's cut to the quick because this is potentially big news. Bugatti celebrated its 110th anniversary by sharing a cryptic, short and soundless video on Instagram, so what's the deal?
Coincidentally (is it, really?), Tim Bravo, Bugatti's head of communications, recently confirmed that the company will indeed stage a premiere at the 2019 Monterey Car Week, and even though he wouldn't say any more, this new vehicle *might* be a a limited edition hypercar, and the latest addition to Bugatti's line-up after the Chiron Sport, the Chiron 110 Ans, the Divo and the one-off La Voiture Noire.
If confirmed, the car will certainly come with a seven figure price tag and a limited production run to ensure the standards of exclusivity are maintained.
When questioned about a possible new car built on completely different platform, Bugatti's boss Stephan Winkelmann recently said that they're not ruling out any option for the future but they're also concentrating on making the most, and the best, with their current offerings.
We'll see. All we can do for now is wait and keep our fingers crossed...
