    • When I bought my Saab 93 Turbo X the guy who sold it was super passionate about it and gave us a usb key with a spreadsheet on it showing every single time he'd filled it up with premium fuel over an 8 year period and a binder full of receipts to prove it. Now it's just full of cheap fuel and cheerios.

    • I don't think premium fuel is worth the cost.

I fill my car with the type of fuel car manufacturers recommend.

The engineers must have though of what type of fuel runs the best.

My car for example runs the best with RON 95. Filling it up with RON 98 doesn't give me more power or anything, considering my car has a N/A engine.

    • Premium fuel isn't always worth it, most engines are designed to work with cheap fuel, you actually only need premium fuel for cars with "performance engines" like Ferrari V8 or for older cars with engines that doesn't run that good, as they did once. These are the only engines that would get damaged by cheap fuel, while nearly every engine you'll find on the road, will have no big problems with cheap fuel, it just depends what's better for your engine and how much you want to spend on fuel. I personally would rather use cheap fuel and use the money, I saved, to buy stuff like car parts or something that I need
