"You've drifted around the track, you are sent to jail. You do not collect money when passing Go"

Since its launch in 1935, Monopoly has been loved by people all over the world, and we were able to see numerous variations of it, including the Australian Ford version of it. This time, Monopoly has built a new Nurburgring edition of it to satisfy both petrolheads and Monopoly lovers.

The basic concept of the game remains unchanged, but the whole game revolves around the iconic track. It is obvious that Hasbro had no trouble making it as there are more than 150 corners to choose from and numerous landmarks in the circuit.

All the properties named after streets and houses are replaced by the corners of the Nurburgring. For example, your beloved Boardwalk is now the infamous Karussell and Park Place is replaced by Brünnchen. This game will definitely be a good chance for you to get to know the corners of this challenging race track!

Also, your chance card is now called boxenstopp, which means pit stop in German and community chest is now called teammeeting, which seems sort of like a team radio,After seeing the Nurburgring education, I was genuinely curious whether there was a Le Mans version of it as I am a huge fan of the French circuit. Surprisingly, there was a French Le Mans version Monopoly, but when I looked into it, I was more than disappointed. It was about the region Le Mans, not the iconic race or the circuit, La Sarthe. So, Hasbro, if you’re reading, why not make a La Sarthe version of Monopoly next year? Of course, don’t forget to add Porsche 917 and Ford GT40 figurines hence the guy with the headset. Furthermore, 8 racing inspired figurines are included in the board game, such as a trophy, an F1 car, a wheel gun, a wrench, and a helmet. All of them are exclusive to this edition of the Monopoly.

Although this version of Monopoly looks like the perfect Christmas board game to enjoy for petrolheads, there is one bit of a problem. It is only available in German and is only sold on the Nurburgring website. Regardless, this board game will definitely help you when you’re looking for ‘free parking space’ in Germany!
If you are wishing to buy this Monopoly for a Christmas gift, visit the link above! It only costs you €44.95, which is about 50 dollars in US currency. Also, it will definitely a good way to get your family familiar with this iconic racetrack and further to ‘grow’ next-generation petrolheads!
