When you think safari vehicle, your mind probably wanders towards stuff like the Land Rover Defender or Toyota Land Cruiser. But seeing as the key to getting up close wildlife is silence and camouflage, surely a set of all-electric, all-wheel drive SUVs in full camouflage liveries would be perfect for some Zebra spotting?

Well, we ventured to the Kalahari Desert with a bunch of Audi e-trons to see how it would fair on the dusty, undulating terrain that's home to giraffes, zebras and the iconic springboks.
