Is this the ultimate sleeper?
I don't think this is a stock Nissan Maxima...
I do love a sleeper car. A car that looks like your daily driver but secretly has had a few tweaks here and there that turn it into a giant killer.
External bodywork must remain as close to stock as possible if you are looking for the purest of sleeper cars. They must leave your unwitting opponent, who has pulled alongside you in their Porsche 911, feeling as safe as possible in the knowledge that he can destroy you in a one on one drag race.
In this example of, what I think, is the greatest sleeper of all time, the Nissan Maxima driver has even dressed for the part. He has brought out the striped dad shirt with matching baseball cap and blue jeans for added disguise. A genius move.
He even has a Bollywood film on the car's TV in the centre console. All of these factors add to the character of the sleeper driver.
Then, out of nowhere, he gives it the full beans and his school run Nissan Maxima ends up schooling the yellow Porsche 911 driver.
Ladies and gentlemen, your new hero.

A performance-modified car disguised as a stock street car is the exact definition of a sleeper.
I think that's just his fashion sense...lol
