It was shortly after this photo that i spotted a whiff of coolant and a small steam cloud coming from the right hand kidney grill. So, the latest job on the beemer was a radiator swap. Without removing the fan shroud, etc. It was hard to tell what condition the radiator was in. It turned out to be completely knackered! It looks like someone has jacked the car up from the front at some point as the radiator was anything but straight! So, several hours on the driveway, working under camping lights and a torch and it's done. As a bonus feature, I wanted to replace the thermostat anyway, as the car took ages to reach temperature and rarely maintained it. Killed 2 birds with one stone
