Its been a while since i said anything in here but its not really been the weather for riding and i've been busy with work and stuff. My bike has actually developed an issue 😮 Luckily, it's something which Triumph have acknowledged and they will fix it free of charge. Basically, the insulated part of the sparkplug cap isn't up to the job and the spark is leaking out and arcing to the engine block when the engine is hot. My Triumph dealer knew my bike was a 'modern classic' before I actually said which model it was. Triumph are retrofitting alternative plug caps to anyone reporting problems.
There is also the ongoing problem of the blip stall. This happens if you blip the throttle in a snatchy manner from tickover. It's not something that bothered me as I dont tend to sit at the lights blipping it anyway 🙄 I have noticed it a couple of times but not enough to go back to the dealers. Anyway, they are going to kill 2 birds with one stone and update the fuel mapping for one which promises to eliminate the hot blip stalling 😁
