When I saw the new team Red Bull in Formula One, I did not believe them. Every new team, which enter to the motorsport brings a big question marks. „The Red Bull“, however, blowed mind to every fan.
First, it was average results. Points, drop out, points and quit again. They go through a lot of races and on the one hand they showed their strength but on the other hand they showed inability to master the tactics of the team.
Very important point for the team came when the young german driver Sebastian Vettel joined to the team. And it was huge problem for me, too. Because I (and many others), who was (and still are) fans of Ferrari and Fernando Alonso, we don´t like this driver. He was young arrogant german driver, who started winning one grand prix after another. The team thought, that he is a driver similar like Ayrton Senna and even the Michael Schumacher. Of course, in this period none of the tifosi did not like this German driver. He showed great performances and results and he was able to get four titles of the world champion in the row.

However, a one year ago I realized, that when i was stubborn, I was able to watch this years quite differently. The truth is, that Vettel was not the great driver only, but the whole team worked incredibly good. And now I see it in the young Max Verstappen. Team boss – Helmut Marko made incredible move. After the poor results Russian Kvjat, he changed the drivers from the A-team (Red Bull) to the B-team (Toro Rosso). And this move was very very good. Verstappen won his first grand prix for the Red Bull in Spain. All fans celebrate this excellent checkmate. And if it doesn´t work out, then Marko could say with the calm of Englishman, that the young Dutch driver just was not ready for big team.

This events opened my eyes. Maybe I was too blinded with one driver (although probably the best one) and one team in the past. And I did not give a change to show the new drivers. Today, we all want to be there more drivers such as Verstappen. Because he is not afraid. He trying to overtake, he trying to race! And thatis the reason to give him a change. And not just him, but every single sportman, who decides enter to this sport.

My heart still admires Alonso. It´s like a favourite car or pet or film. You simply love it. Although he is not the best but for you he is a complete top.
Keď sa v F1 objavil tím s názvom Red Bull, neverila som im. Každý nový tím, ktorý vstupuje do tohto cirkusu prináša zo sebou otázniky. Červený býk však hneď od začiatku pomotal hlavu nejednému fanúšikovi.
Na začiatku to boli priemerné výsledky. Body, vypadnutie, body a znova vypadnutie. Prehrýzal sa množstvom pretekov a raz ukázal svoju silu, inokedy neschopnosť zvládnuť taktiku celého tímu.
Zlom pre tento tím nastal, keď sa k tímu pridal mladučký nemec Vettel. A to bol veľký problém pre mňa. Ja (a mnoho iných), ktorí boli (a sú) fanúšikovia Ferrari a Fernanda Alonsa pristupovali k nemu veľmi nevďačne. Nie len že to bol mladý nafúkaný nemec, ktorý začal vyhrávať jednu veľkú cenu za druhou. Bol to celý tím, ktorý si myslel, že je to jazdec podobný velikánom ako Ayrton Senna alebo dokonca nástupca Michaela Schumachera. Samozrejme, v tom období žiaden tifosi nemal rád tohto Nemca. I keď dokazoval výborné výsledky a dokázal získať štyri majstrovské tituly v rade.
Avšak, rok dozadu som si uvedomila, že nebyť môjho tvrdohlavého prístupu, mohla som sa na tieto roky pozerať celkom inak. Pravdou je, že Vettel nebol len výborný jazdec, ale celý tím pracoval neskutočne dobre. A teraz to vidím v prípade mladučkého Maxa Verstappena. Šéf tímu – Helmut Marko spravil neuveriteľne dobrý ťah. Po slabých výkonoch rusa Kvjata prehodil jazdcov z Áčkového a Béčkového tímu a tento ťah mu vyšiel. Verstappen vyhral hneď svoju prvú veľkú cenu v Španielsku. Vtedy všetci (aj nie fanúšikovia Red Bullu) ospevovali tento výborný šach-mat. A keby to náhodou nevyšlo, tak mohol Marko s pokojom Angličana povedať, že mladý Holanďan jednoducho nebol pripravený.
Tieto okolnosti mi otvorili oči. Možno som v minulosti bola až príliš zaslepená jedným jazdcom (i keď asi tým najlepším) a jedným tímom. A nedala som šancu ukázať sa nováčikom. Dnes si všetci želáme, aby bolo viac takých jazdcov ako je Verstappen. Pretože ten sa nebojí. Skúša predbiehať, preteká! A preto som sa rozhodla, že mu dám šancu. A nie len jemu, ale každému jednému športovcovi, ktorý sa rozhodne vstúpiť do tohto športu.
Moje srdce síce stále obdivuje Alonsa. Je to ako obľúbená značka auta. Jednoducho ho milujete. I keď možno nie je najlepšie ale pre vás je to úplný top.
