Jaguar celebrate International Women's Day with new film entitled #SheDidIt

Jaguar’s women are celebrating International Women’s Day by highlighting their roles in the creation of the company's luxury products in a short film.

The video, called #SheDidIt, stars some of the female employees who design, manufacture, test and sell the brand's cars, as part of a campaign to showcase the growing number of women in the car industry.

The film features a wide array of women involved in the vehicle building process, from clay modeller Shamaila Khan’s design work right through to customer Jess Monks, who drives a Jaguar F-Pace.

Fiona Pargeter, Jaguar Land Rover Customer Experience Director, said: “We put our customers first throughout the design and development of our products. Therefore diversity in our workforce is key.

“We have trebled the number of women in management roles and we outperform the national average threefold in the recruitment of female engineering apprentices.

“Our film showcases that more and more females are enjoying rewarding careers in automotive. We hope it will inspire the next generation of talented women too.”
