The Jaguar XF is a luxury, large sized car that comes in the form of either saloon or an estate. The XF has 7 trims to choose from, with the base model offering a good level of standard tech, such as rear parking sensors and heated leather seats.

Here are the best video reviews of the Jaguar XF, including a summary of the pros and cons for each one.

Video 1 - Carwow

Mat Watson from Carwow is impressed with the kit included in the XF. He also loves the design of the car and its interior. Mat would recommend going for a slightly more powerful engine as he wasn't impressed with the one he was testing.

Interior

Mat loves the layout of the cabin. He praises the sporty driving position, but then goes on to mention that there's some cheaper plastic materials that are used lower down inside the car.

Driving

Mat immediately comments on how fun the car is to drive. He then goes onto talk about how comfortable it is, but then says that there's a fair bit of road noise when driving along at speed.

Practicality

Leg room is good throughout, but a middle rear passenger may struggle during a long journey. Mat is pleased with the big boot, but doesn't see the point of the electric-opening tailgate as the mechanism takes up precious boot space.

Tech

The XF comes with a lot of kit as standard. Mat is thoroughly impressed with this, but recommends upgrading to the more expensive navigation system.

Video 2 - Telegraph Cars

Chris Knapman from Telegraph cars is impressed with the new XF. Chris likes the automatic gearbox and how comfortable to car is to drive. He praises the rear leg room, boot space and the diesel engine, but tells viewers that they should consider the Mercedes E Class.

Interior

Chris mentions a few of the XF's more classier features. He likes the soft LED lighting at night, the motorised air vents, and how the gear lever rises up when the engine is switched on.

Driving

Chris tells the viewer that the diesel is a little noisy to start. He also recommends the automatic gearbox as once the car is up to speed, it's quiet and comfortable. "This is a lovely car to drive, better even than a BMW 5 Series".

Practicality

Good leg room for passengers in the rear, and a class leading boot however, Chris does mention that there's a limited foot space for the rear middle passenger.

Tech

Chris thinks that the infotainment system is good, however it's quite slow when entering an address into the navigation system.

Video 3 - Auto Express

James Batchelor starts by comparing the looks of the XF to the smaller XE. He loves the design of the car and how practical it is. Later in the video he takes the XF round a racetrack and praises the way it feels to drive at speed.

Interior

James is fond of the materials used inside the car. He likes the high-quality metals, describing them as 'swish'. He also talks about the motorised air vents on each end of the dashboard, but goes on to mention that the middle air vents aren't as special.

Driving

James loves how well the car drives. He mentions how comfortable it is over bumps, and how economical the diesel engines are.

Practicality

"It's all very roomy". James comments on how spacious the back of the XF is. He explains how he can comfortably sit in the back, despite being quite tall. He also likes how easy the buttons and controls are to operate in the front of the car.

Tech

James describes the infotainment system as "very cool and very slick". He loves how easy it is to operate, and recommends the larger 10.2" screen.

Video 4 - CarsGuide

Richard Berry from CarsGuide explains the fierce competition that the XF faces. He loves the XF's imposing looks, but mentions that there's lots of expensive optional extras on his test car. He also finds a few questionable build quality issues around the car.

Interior

"This is a beautiful cabin". Richard likes the cabin, but mentions that his comfortable seats are an optional extra. He also finds a large uneven gap between the dashboard and the drivers door which appears to be the result of bad craftsmanship.

Driving

The sports suspension in Richard's car makes it a little bumpy when driving, but he states that it's manageable. He loves the automatic gearbox by saying "It suits the Jaguar's limousine feel perfectly".

Practicality

Richard is impressed with the big boot and overall space for rear passengers. He also mentions that the sunroof is an optional extra.

Tech

Richard talks about the standard equipment and that the reversing camera is the clearest he's ever seen. He also notes that the virtual cockpit display is an additional cost.
