Jannes Fittje is leaving ADAC Formula 4 perfectly prepared
Jannes Fittje entered the German ADAC Formula 4 series in 2015 with Motopark, going on to contest the 2016 season with US Racing.
Twelve finishes in the top ten, including three podium finishes speak for themselves. "My highlight was the race at Lausitzring finishing fourth, third and second. Especially the last race with slicks in the rain was my favourite. The track dried up and I moved forward from 22nd to second overall which was impressive!", Fittje told.

Even if the season didn’t develop the way he would have liked, with Zandvoort being the lowest point. "Before the race we went testing in Zandvoort and it wasn’t dry, but still, there was nothing going on in the races."
"After the summer break, we started to struggle with the speed. In fact, we didn’t score the necessary points we would have needed to defend fifth in the (driver) championship. However we can still be happy, as it was the goal to fight for victories and podiums, which was the case this season."
Following his two seasons in ADAC Formula 4, the Thuringian feels perfectly prepared for his next career challenge. "In the end. it’s the aim of Formula 4 to prepare you for your future challenges in the best possible way. And this is the case with me", explained Fittje.
Although it is still too early to say where his road is leading to. "The 2017 preparations are in full swing which means we are evaluating my options. And as a part of it, I am testing in Formula 3 but also in ADAC GT Masters", revealed the 17-year-old.

Whenever the young driver is not working or on the track himself, motorsport stays his number one passion. "You can find me in front of the TV or a livestream, watching every kind of thrilling motorsport on four wheels", admitted Fittje, who even got up in the early morning to follow the Formula 3 races in Macau. "But I also like to watch Moto GP, Moto2 and Moto3 – they have fascinating races with wheel-to-wheel action from lights to flag."
Next month, Fittje will take a small vacation break from the ongoing preparations. "But only to attack even stronger afterwards", he cleary points out his direction.
