Jean-Eric Vergne appointed Sustainability Ambassador for Formula E

As part of Formula E's environmentally sustainable commitments, they have assigned an ambassadorial role to JEV.
The race series has vowed to serve only locally sourced food at its championship events and endorse the use of sustainable transportation to the events as well as a number of other initiatives to promote a more efficient outlook.
They were accompanied in signing up to this commitment at last weekend's Paris ePrix by a number of other French sporting events, including the Tour De France, Rolland Garros and the Paris 2024 Olympic Bid.
JEV's role will be to promote these initiatives and offer advice on how to live a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
