The Gulf livery is an iconic livery, arguably the most iconic of all time, having dressed the Ford GT40, McLaren F1 GTR, Porsche 917 and many more race cars and now sports-cars. Most of the race cars dressed in this livery have been Le Mans winners. The baby blue and orange colour combination does add character to the cars that have sported it. Ask any petrolhead and they'l' know the Gulf livery.
German car dealer and tuner, Geigercars got the Trackhawk and dressed it up in the iconic livery and I have to say the baby blue with the orange highlights adds a lot of character to the SUV and it looks fantastic. But there is no point in just having the paint job, it also should perform like a race car. The Trackhawk is a performance SUV but Geigercars thought it needed a bit more.
With the help of new springs, the SUV is now an inch lower. They have fitted the car with a new supercharger, specifically a Magnuson TVS 2650 supercharger, new forged pistons, air filter and a few more engine reinforcements. The power output is now 900 horses with 1000 Nm (apporx. 737.5 lb-ft) of torque. The top speed is now 194 Mph (312 km/h), more than the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. It is good to know it performs like a car worthy of the Gulf livery.
If you think this is a one off vehicle, you are correct - it was built by and for Geigercars' 40th anniversary. However, this car is for sale for 129,000 Euros (approx. US $145,000). They are a tuning company as well, if you ask nicely they might just build you one.
I know there are SUVs out there which have the Gulf Livery, Is this the best SUV with the Gulf Livery? Let me know in the comments.
