Jensen G-Type — as found....

It looks terrific after the amazing restoration and rebuild, but this it what it looked like "as found"....

The typical William Towns' wedge was to be Jensen's replacement for the Jensen-Healey based Jensen GT. Of course, history tells us that it never happened.

There's plenty of photos of the finished car, but this is what it looked like "as found".

The prototype shell survived however, together with Jensen's "Engineering Production Specification" book. This enabled a Jensen enthusiast a number of years later to buy the project and then commission Lynx Engineering to completely finish it and turn it into a road-ready car.
