Jenson Button opens up new Youtube channel, shoots first video of Super GT test
Former Formula 1 driver Jenson Button has expanded his social media reach by opening up his new Youtube channel named 'Jenson Button TV', which has so far gotten more than four thousand subscribers already.
The British driver who parted ways with McLaren and F1 at the end of 2017, has kick-started his new journey of competing in the Japan's Super GT Championship in 2018 for Team Mugen Honda driving the Honda NSX-GT machinery in the GT500 category.
The 37-year-old took part in the four-day winter test at Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit during December 19-22, as they prepare for the forthcoming season which starts at Okayama during the April 7-8 weekend.
Following on from the 2016 F1 champion Nico Rosberg, who has made his 'Vlogs' popular on Youtube, the 2009 champion calls his channel as providing 'content' to the fans. His first video features the Super GT four-day test.
Button made his Super GT debut last year in the Suzuka 1000km event, where he raced the #16 Honda alongside regulars Daisuke Nakajima and Hideki Mutoh. The trio had a mixed run to finish the race in 12th position.
