Top Gear's venture into the radioactive grounds of Chernobyl is almost legendary. The episode where they tested three hatchbacks launched itself into forums all over the internet where people discussed whether the whole thing was faked, whether they were actually in the midst of radiation, or if it was just a story to make good TV.
In an interview with Absolute Radio, Jeremy Clarkson discussed the trip through one of the most dangerous places on the planet.
"28 years after the worst possible disaster, and I was wandering round in jeans an trainer shoes and you think - I know I'm supposed to have thrown my shoes away but I haven't."
According to the tinternet, you're supposed to get rid of your shoes after walking around the radiation infested dust of the area. Jeremy didn't, and to the interviewers surprise, he was wearing those very same shoes that day.

Hmm Jeremy I would you know get rid of them if I were you. But I remember seeing a video. Where Hammond says after that Jeremy and James both became like heaters. So in the cold morning he stood close to them. 😂😂
