Jeremy Clarkson reveals that the next Grand Tour episode is finished
The wait is nearly over
During a charity livestream last week, Jeremy Clarkson revealed that the next Grand Tour special is finished, and it is now down to Amazon as to when the show is released.
To conclude the livestream that was in aid of the Felix Project, a charity that distributes unwanted supermarket produce to people in need, Clarkson declared the current status of the next special that was filmed in Madagascar.
He said: "If you want to know when the next Grand Tour is out, please don't ask us, we don't know, Amazon Prime know, they have it, it's finished, it's done, it's filmed, it's edited, it's graded, it's ready to go.
"It's up to them when they put it out. We are looking forward to seeing it as much as you are; it was bloody good fun to make in Madagascar which is a hell of a place and we think we made one hell of a story".
After the show shifted away from the tent-based first three series, The Grand Tour is now being brought to us through adventurous specials which kicked off firstly with Vietnam, and will soon be followed by the aforementioned Madagascar episode.
The trio was then supposed to travel to Northern Russia for the next feature, but that shoot was canned due to the COVID-19 global situation escalating.
Jeremy's statement seems promising however, so expect to see a release date being published by Amazon in the very near future.

Nope...i think they mentioned they pulled out of that one before the pandemic
They said they would go back next year when the snow returns, and film elsewhere in the meantime
Just an observation. Wouldnt it be an idea to film the whole series then release it so we dont just get one episode a year? GT is the reason i pay for Prime but now I'm months and months out of pocket. Pandemic my arse.....👍
