Jeremy Clarkson says the Lexus LFA is no longer his favourite car of all time
For the past 10 years Jeremy Clarkson's had one answer to the most-asked question of all time: "What's your favourite car ever?" It's always been simple: the Lexus LFA.
The Japanese brand's riotous, symphonic, V10-powered supercar has long topped Clarkson's list. But in a recent interview with Ireland's 98FM to promote the Seamen Grand Tour special, Jezza claims the LFA has been knocked off its perch.
He won't tell us exactly which car has replaced it, and all he'll say is it's the car he recently used for filming a special of The Grand Tour in Madagascar.
Which, thanks to some shaky camera footage and internet rumours – we think to be an off-road-modded, previous-generation Bentley Continental GT. One with massive chunky tyres, wheel-arch extensions and a rollcage exoskeleton. Here's a blurry photo of it from one of The Grand Tour Fans' videos.

Now we're not saying he's gone completely mad – because we love the new Bentley Conti GT more than pretty much anything else, but is it really better than an LFA? Perhaps Jezza's reached that point in life where comfort, serenity and subtle power are more important than a supercar's ostentatious noise and looks.
Don't miss Seamen – get a free Amazon Prime trial
The next episode of The Grand Tour, called Seamen, doesn't look to feature any cars at all, but will feature the boys in boats navigating Vietnam's Mekong Delta. It looks fantastically silly – so grab a free 30-day Amazon Prime Video trial to make sure you don't miss it when it airs on December 13. That's only a week away, so hop to it.
