At the moment, The Sun are home to a new campaign: "Jabs Army" which has received the support from Chris Evans, Boris Johnson, Piers Morgan, Nationwide (the bank), Vodafone, BT, British Airways, SKY Television, Hilton, Vue Cinemas, Bentley, Puregym, Morrisons, Jeremy Clakson... the list is endless and full of companies and famed people publicly supporting this amazing program.
"What is this campaign about?" you may ask, but ask no more. "Jabs Army" is a volunteering campaign which asks people to become NHS Volunteer Responders - which has many roles such as:
- Community Response Volunteer: This is to help people who are self-isolating by doing day-to-day errands for them and delivering the shopping/perscriptions.
- Community Response Plus Volunteer: This is to help the most vulnerable families and people. This is also done by delivering shopping/perscriptions.
- Steward Volunteer for COVID Vaccinations: This is to help guide people to the place of their vaccinations, whilst ensuring precations are taken such as social distancing.
These are three selected roles although there are many more on the website HERE.
Jeremy ClarksonSo wake up one morning and say, ‘Yeah, I’m going to do that. I’m going to volunteer.
Now, this is where I discuss with you Jeremy Clarkson's involvement. Jeremy is the most famous motoring journalist in the world. He's one of the best-known Brits in the world outside of the Royal Family and Prime Minister, Jeremy Clarkson is in the top 5 best known living Brits. And he has decided to use his platform to preach the message: "Everyone is saying how bored they are. They’ve watched Netflix, gone through everything on the internet, read Google... Well let’s not be bored — let’s get off our bottoms and volunteer".
Jeremy is right (of course). Everyone who is able to volunteer should help the "National Effort". Jeremy visited a relatively small centre in Oxfordshire and pointed out that 50 or so volunteers were needed and said: "That shows how many volunteers you need across the country to make it work." He compared it to World War Two, saying: “To be involved in solving the biggest crisis we’ve seen since 1939 is so important."
Jeremy, like many others have realised the sheer amount of help the NHS will need rolling out the Vaccinations, so if you're able to, give a hand, help and kill your boredom. Please, this is to help everyone throughout this tough and tumultuous time.

It’d be more sensible to deploy the Army Reserves before having the public volunteer for managing the crisis. The general population would do well to just observe the necessary health precautions and safety regulations to not worsen the situation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
First time in my live that I response with a:
AMEN!
