John Force Racing and Kalitta Motorsports announce 2021 driver lineups
As we get closer to the start of the season, announcements have been coming out daily
With the start of the NHRA season quickly approaching, driver, team and sponsor announcements are coming out daily, and today two of the biggest names is drag racing announced their driver lineups for the 2021 season.
John Force Racing delighted fans by announcing that they are returning for the 2021 season and they'll have three full time hot rods competing. John Force himself will be back behind the wheel of the PEAK/BlueDef Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car with tuners Dan Hood and Tim Fabrisi at the helm.
John Force Racing President Robert Hight will pilot the Auto Club of Southern California Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car once again with powerhouse crew chiefs Jimmy Prock and Chris Cunningham.
2017 Top Fuel World Champion Brittany Force and her Monster Energy/Flav-R-Pac dragster will reunite with crew chiefs David Grubnic and Mac Savage.
Kalitta Motorsports made their driver lineup as well and they too will have three full time hot rods competing in the nitro categories.
Doug Kalitta will be back, for the 20th season, as the driver of the Mac Tools Top Fuel Dragster with crew chiefs Rob Flynn and Troy Fasching.
Joining Doug in Top Fuel once again is Shawn Langdon in his DHL/Kalitta Air sponsored dragster. He, once again, will have one of the most aggressive crew chief combos, Connie Kalitta and Kurt Elliott.
The lone Funny Car in the Kalitta stable, the DHL Toyota Camry, will be driven by JR Todd with crew chiefing done by Todd Smith and Jon Oberhofer.
John Force Racing, Kalitta Motorsports and more will head to West Palm Beach, Florida to make some noise at the PRO Winter Warmup, March 5th-7th ahead of the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, March 11th-14th, which will kick off the 2021 season.
