Just got this custom stock Hot Wheels 2000 Honda Civic Si Coupe in a trade today.

This custom version was a part of a trade gift between me and @loli_hw_trader on Instagram, who heavily modified the original casting back to stock. Modifications include smoother front / rear bumpers, side skirts, smooth front hood with the removal of the wing and a repaint with details more closer to the actual car. I only detailed the panel lines, did minor touch ups with detailing the headlights, taillights, wheels, windows, and chassis. Now this Civic is worthy of being a keeper in my collection.

Enjoyment: the sizzling Civic Si Coupe, with its 160hp, DOHC VTEC engine. But catch it while you can. This enthusiast’s dream features a specially tuned, high-compression power plants that develops an awesome 100 horsepower per liter. It’s chassis is more than up to the task of handling that power, with a short throw, 5 speed manual gearbox, a front strut tower brace, stiffer springs, 4-wheel disc brakes, dual stabilizer bars, low-profile tires and 15’ x 6’ alloy wheels. This is one of the best bang for your buck values on the market. And one of the most seductive. So hop in and take one for a spin. If you dare.

  • Wow. It seems like a lot of work went into that. It’s very nice, I wish this car came from HW looking more like your custom…

    • Thanks, I commissioned it from my friend Chris who did the modifications and paint and I did the minor detailing when I got it.
