Quick, what do Bruce Wayne, Diana Prince and Lewis Hamilton have in common? One of them is a stupendously wealthy businessman who doubles as the world's greatest detective. One is an Amazon, and one is just a Formula 1 driver. You don't expect them to share a lot in common other than celebrity. That was until now as they will all be driving Mercedes Benz's. Mercedes just announced that they are the official car partner of the new Justice League movie.
"With JUSTICE LEAGUE, we found the perfect partner to highlight our current vehicles as well as communicate the fascination of our brand. The E-Class Cabriolet is a natural fit for Wonder Woman," says Dr. Jens Thiemer, Vice President Marketing Mercedes-Benz Cars. "And who other than Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, would be more inclined to drive a car like the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo? We are therefore very excited to partner with Warner Bros. Pictures on this much-anticipated movie as we reach out to as many people as possible with a creative and innovative campaign."

Oh and just in case you are the type of human who likes to leave knowledge of what cars superheros will be driving in their movies... SPOILER ALERT. Both hero's are seen driving their new wheels while attempting to recruit new members to their team. Wayne can be seen driving AMG Vision while talking to Barry Allen aka The Flash. Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman drivers her E-Class Cabriolet while meeting with Cyborg aka Victor Stone.
The AMG Vision Gran Turismo underwent a good amount of changes to make it's silver screen debut. The Mercedes Design team developed a complete interior with illuminated elements, racing seats and a virtual dashboard for the film. The actual act of shooting the movie with the car required the whole vehicle to be enlarged by 10%.
"As a designer you have to create fantasy, so we often get inspired by the film industry. I am excited that this time, the film industry was inspired by us and our Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo became the car for a super hero," says Gordon Wagener, Chief Design Officer Daimler AG. "Extreme proportions, sensual contours and intelligently implemented high tech blend to form a breathtaking body and the perfect car for Bruce Wayne."
In the age we live in it is not enough for Mercedes to simply be the official car for our hero's. There will be a complete advertising campaign, complete with a television commercial and six digital comics.
So Batman, Wonder Woman and Hammer Time will all drive the same type of car. Seems to make sense, after all wouldn't you want your hero's driving cars built by the 3 time and reigning World Constructor's Champion?
