Karma Automotive announces first all-electric vehicle and new GS series name
That's right, Karma is back!
Karma Automotive is back, and they are back with a punch. They have just announced their first-ever all-electric sedan, which will make light in 2021.
Not only are they launching a new electric sedan, but they will also launching the new GS badge. The new sedan will come with new electrification options, technological advancements, and of course, a fully-electric powertrain. The new sedans will wear the GS badge.
You can go on Karma's website and go reserve your bid to get Karma's newest luxury sedan. It'll cost you $100, and is fully refundable.
Now, that's all Karma Automotive has given us, detail wise. However, I'm here to give you some insight on what you should expect their latest creation. The photos you've seen peppered in article are photos of Karma's concept, the SC-1 Vision. Obviously, the new car won't be all that similar to the concepts above, as the new Karma coming out in 2021 will be a sedan, and the concept is a coupe. However, concepts are typically made to give the people a bit of foreshadowing for a new design language. In other words, a small peep-hole to the future. And if this general logic applies to this case, the all-electric Karma will most likely feature a flowing design, made to look aggressive and sporty. And I also can't help but to notice that the teaser image Karma gave us has the same paint color as the SC-1 vision. Plug the holes together, and you can sort of get an idea of what it'll look like.
Wrap it up
So then, until the debut, we can only guess what the performance will be, let alone anything else. But all I can say is this: let's hope that the launch for this Karma is smoother than when they launched the Revero.
