Keeping Moto GP bikes clean

1y ago

As with every element of MotoGP, keeping the bikes themselves clean is serious business. And it's not just a case of a spray of WD40 and a blast with the jetwash. Every bike is stripped to its component parts and given a thorough going over with the parts washer, before being blasted with compressed air. The thinking behind this is it makes component failures easier to spot, as well as keeping weight down. Dirt is heavy after all!
