Indycar has decided children 15 years and under will be free with an accompanying adult purchase to next year's Indy 500.
From IMS president Doug Boles: "Yes. It is true. I asked our team a few weeks ago to adjust our 12 & under free to be 15 & under free for all GA tickets when an adult attends with them (practice, qualifying, Carb Day, etc.). And, if an adult purchases a GA to the Grand Prix, the Indy 500 or Brickyard 400, 15 & Under are free then too. We are working on a grandstand section for the Grand Prix race day that would be "GA" so that there would also be a "seat" area (other than spectator mounds) for adults with kids 15 & Under."
*GA stands for General Admission.
