Koenigsegg goes with a V8 Hybrid for his “Base” Model. Pricing Between $680-910K
The founder and CEO of the Swedish high-performance automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg Automotive AB, Christian von Koenigsegg, has revealed more details about the company's upcoming "base" model.
Koenigsegg has announced that the car will debut at next year’s Geneva Motor Show and will be more of a road car, rather than all track focused.
Specifications were not given in detail, but he did say the car will be electrified and have a naturally-aspirated V8 engine which uses fully variable valve actuation and allows it to produce more power while also using less fuel.

As all Koenigsegg models, the car will be built in Ängelholm, and the company is planning on building a few hundred units annually which is super limited if you compare it to other super-car producers.
The estimated cost of the car is between $680,000 – $910,000 (£516,767 – £689,023 / €600,000 – €800,000), which is not as expensive as other super-car models the company has produced.
