Koenigsegg shows us how a V8 should sound like with the new Jesko
Turns out your nation doesn't need to have unhealthy BMI levels to produce a fantastic V8 soundtrack. Take a listen to the new Koenigsegg Jesko!
Howdie and välkommen! As the Swedish brand Koenigsegg is preparing to launch the new Jesko, Jesko in Swedish meaning "better than Bugatti", the brand has come to the part of the foreplay where they have begun unbuttoning their clothes. What that sexualized metaphor actually means is that they have released a short video of them revving the 1600hp twin-turbocharged V8 monster on Instagram. Back to the metaphor, it seems though that Koeningsegg are keeping us a bit blue for the remainder of the development phase as the car is stuck in a garage and not driving as if it were stolen on a track. But just like those turbochargers, you will be making high pitch noises when you hear that engine!
Helvete vilket ljud! Is what we Swedes would say to this video, and if you're not Swedish or not able to listen to the video (I petty you), I can tell you it sounds pretty good. Similar to a moose being chased down by a pack of wolves and dissimilar to other ordinary V8's, it's a nice mitch match if I say so myself.
This fantastic orchestra of noise is composed by the latest evolution of Koenigsegg's 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8, tuned to deliver as much as 1603 hp (that is if you share some of your alcohol with the car). The conductor of the orchestra has been upgraded to an all-new innovative nine-speed multi-clutch with "Light Speed Transmission, in simpleton words this means that the conductor will make damn sure the band will play all the notes.
If you're not impressed by this I can only assume you live on the moon and binge drink Bellinis as if they were office sized mugs with water... That or you are Danish. In any case, I want to hear what you think about the new loud Jesko V8! So tell me in the comments and vote for the option that suits your opinion the best! And leave a Bump for crying out loud!
