The special editions have been named the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster 50th Anniversary Japan Editions - a bit of a mouthful! The cars are inspired by five natural elements in Japanese culture. Water, Earth, Fire, Wind and Sky.

The Water edition has become the release model this week in Tokyo. This special edition is featured in a blue to black colour, that reports suggest took over 170 hours of labour to create. Inside, the blue and black theme continues, with black, alcantara seats and blue piping and stitching. The interior is finished with a carbon nameplate with the Japanese symbol for water.

  • YES! I often dream of a super car with a color scheme quite like this. It recalls the old ‘Mako’ Corvettes from the 60’s (but without the lighter white at the bottom).
