Land Cruiser Namib - This is the coolest vehicle in the world
If you think the world of off-roaders and 4x4s has gone soft, think again.
This amazing retro-styled beauty you see here is called the Land Cruiser Namib and even though it looks like it was built 40 years ago, it is actually brand-spanking new. You can buy one today. And you should.
This special edition Land Cruiser is made for South Africa but should also be available in America, based on the 79 model, and it is powered by a 4.5 L diesel V8 delivering 202 hp and 317 lb-ft torque. This double-cab truck was obviously styled to look like it was made in the 70s and it comes with a new black front grille with Toyota lettering and two big and obvious extra lights, a steel front bumper with integrated heavy-duty nudge bar and Namib badging.
Inside we find a classic design, with black on black on black for the colour, but you'll still find climate control and even an infotainment system of sorts. Hardly a deal-breaker in a car like this, I know, but it's there if you need it.
The truck rides on 265/75/R16 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tyres with white lettering, and with upgraded suspension, and it might as well be, quite frankly, the coolest vehicle I've written about in a while.
The starting price is 893,600 South African rand, or $85,315 with the "Heritage Edition" costing $87,645, which makes it one of the most expensive Land Cruisers you can buy. But you sort of feel like it's worth it, don't you?

It’s be great if Toyota bought this over to the states.
Diesel maual 5 seater pickup truck in 🇺🇸 will be very desirable that dealers will sell it with extra ordinary mark up, pitty that I would not be able to pay 150k for it.
export from Australia they are everywhere here
I would sell a Nut, a Kidney and a wife to get that in the States........................
👍
You may have to sell your kid too it will be exclusive = expensive
TGT proved that the Toyota pickup could die in Namibia when they found that destroyed truck. Maybe this one can survive
Ahahahah. I remember that
If you clicked something else than "I want one now", you have a problem.
Agreed
$80K+? You're kidding
