The new Ford Ranger MS-RT is essentially a Ranger Wildtrak with the additions of carbon fiber-effect grille and mirrors, 20-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels, bigger wheelarches, new side skirts, and an aerodynamic load bar. The exterior comes in Frozen White, Sea Grey or Agate Black, while the interior comes with orange-stitched leather. It is not available in the US, and pricing has not been announced.
Carroll Shelby's personal Shelby Cobra has been auctioned off for $5,940,000 (£4,373,266/€4,918,914).
The updated 2021 Nissan Armada starts at $49,895 (£36,571/€41,205), which is $1,000 (£733/€826) more than before.
The base model Porsche Taycan ditches the front motor to become the first rear-wheel-drive Taycan, with the rear motor producing 321bhp. A temporary overboost mode cranks it up to 402bhp, which is good for a 0-62 time of 5.4 seconds. The standard battery has a 79kWh capacity allowing for 268 miles of range, but a 93kWh Performance Battery Plus is available, bringing range up to 301 miles. That battery upgrade also increases power to 375bhp with overboost off and 469bhp with overboost on. Prices start at £70,690 ($96,458/€79,664).
Small Chinese EV startup Xpeng currently sells their G3 compact SUV in Norway, but is looking to expand across the rest of Europe.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA is a GLA-based EV that at launch comes only in EQA250 form. It has a singular electric motor producing 185bhp and 277 pound-feet of torque driving the front wheels and a 66.5kWh battery allowing for 265 miles of range. 62 MPH is achieved in 8.9 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 99 MPH. 100kW rapid charging allows for a 10%-80% charge in 30 minutes. Three trim levels are available: Progressive, AMG Line, and (only for 2021) Edition 1; an appearance package with more rose gold touches called Electric Art is available. Pricing starts at €47,541 ($57,553/£42,179).
An Ares Design customer commissioned a one-off Tesla Model S convertible, but Ares has not revealed anything about it except what it looks like.
The MK7 Volkswagen Golf has been discontinued in the US. The MK8 will arrive for the 2022 model year, but only in GTI and R variants.
The redesigned 2021 Buick Envision is here and it rides on the same E2 platform as the Cadillac XT4. Atop the dashboard sits a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with available wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and under the hood lies the sole engine option, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. New Envisions are in dealerships now, starting at $32,995 (£24,032/€27,122).
Exterior pictures of the updated 2022 Buick Enclave have been released, but no interior pictures or specs.
The DS 7 Crossback Louvre edition contains 182 of the Louvre art gallery's paintings in it's infotainment system. It costs £46,530 ($63,677/€52,317).
Ford will spend $610,000,000 (£445,854,307/€501,047,290) to recall three million cars for potential faults with their Takata airbags. The cars affected are the 2004-2011 Ford Ranger, 2006-2012 Ford Fusion, 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2005-2014 Ford Mustang, 2005-2006 Ford GT, and the 2006-2011 Mercury Milan.
