Nissan has created a special-edition GT-R called the T-Spec. It features wider front fenders, a carbon-fiber rear wing, black hood ducts, Rays forged-aluminum wheels, and carbon ceramic brakes. Exterior paint choices are Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple; the interior comes only in Mori Green. Under the hood lies a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 sending 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Pricing starts at $138,490 (£100,305/€117,298).

The Ford Fiesta has been refreshed for 2022 with exterior styling updates, new seats for the ST, and some updates to the engine lineup. The ST's 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder still develops 197 horsepower, but now develops 236 pound-feet of torque instead of 214. 48-volt mild-hybrid power has been added to the 1.0-liter naturally-aspirated three-cylinder engine, boosting output to a choice of either 125 or 155 horsepower. Pricing has not been announced.

For 2022, Mazda has updated the CX-5 with mild styling changes and standard all-wheel-drive. Pricing has not been announced.

General Motors' LT5 engine has been discontinued.

  • Well I guess that’s the end of the GTR R35, at least for a while until they come up with a new one.
