Last year I lost my Dad, so we put the 6R4 in livery in which I’d actually seen it in 1988 with him when we went to the The Birmingham Superprix.

To see the car in a very reminiscent “Dad’s Cars” feature on Top Gear tonight was pretty emotional.

It was a great couple of days filming for this ‘feature’/‘challenge’ and I would like to thank ‘Stigs Dad’ (no it wasn’t me) for doing the car and my childhood memories proud... ♥️
