Race result time for Le Mans and, against all the odds, the #2 Porsche 919 of Earl Bamber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley has scored a sensational victory. All hope of winning seemed to have disappeared on Saturday evening when the car lost an hour in the pits, but in the true spirit of Le Mans, the team clawed it all back.

In GTE-Pro, the class battle went down to literally the last lap with the spoils eventually won by Aston Martin. The #91 Porsche RSR of Richard Lietz, Frederic Makowiecki and Patrick Pilet finished fourth in class.

In the GTE-Am, Porsche finished sixth in class, with Dempsey Proton Racing's Christian Ried, Marvin Dienst and Matteo Cairoli doing the business. Full credit goes to Ferrari who locked out the entire podium in GTE-Am.

A full race report will follow later.
