Leak: here's the steering wheel of the next-gen Mercedes S-Class!
Information about the future Mercedes S-Class is gradually coming in. Today we have the leak of what would be the steering wheel of the future limousine of the star brand. The image, which comes from the Instagram account of ckmcardesign, features a completely new steering wheel design that is sportier than ever before.
The spokes are now separated into two thinner sub-spokes. The result is a steering wheel with six small spokes. It seems that the new steering wheel no longer features traditional buttons, but rather fully tactile controls. This steering wheel has similarities with the steering wheel of the Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept presented at the 2018 Beijing Motor Show.
In fact, the dashboard of the Maybach Concept presented at the Beijing Motor Show has also given some styling elements to series production models. This is the case with the four rectangular air vents that were later adopted by the GLE SUV. The same goes for the instrument panel with its multimedia screen.
Here we have the second leak of a future Mercedes in a few hours, the first being the new headlights of the future redesigned E-Class. These will most likely be similar to the headlights of the next S-Class. The next generation Mercedes S-Class is finalizing its tests for a presentation scheduled for this year.
