Last week, LEGO announced that they are teaming up with 007 and Aston Martin to make a special vehicle for our beloved secret agent.
This week, I found this Aston Martin DB5 project on the LEGO Ideas website.
And here are the images:
The following texts are quoted from the Ideas page:
This model is made of 1063 pieces and includes 7 stickers (logos and number plate), it is a big model, in fact, its dimensions are:
length: 34.4 centimeters / width: 14.4 centimeters / height: 9.5 centimeters
It's a great model, isn't it? Apparently the designer wanted to make a replica of James Bond's DB5, and he did a great job. However, there's something wrong with the engine.
In the real Aston Martin DB5, the heart of the car was a 3995 cc, 282 bhp straight six engine. But the designer gave it a V6.
Well, as a LEGO model, it doesn't really matter. But as a James Bond DB5, you can't get it wrong.
And there's some bad news. LEGO is never going to make this DB5 for the official one is coming! (We all hope it's a DB5 rather than the Spectre DB10, right?)
