Lego series III land rover camel trophy
- Still, turned out rather nice if I don't say so myself, not far off my example image, and it's not just a yellow Series II either.- While it does use the same chassis and interior as my previous Land Rover, it's got new headlights, a new windscreen, and all the additional bits that make it look a bit more like it's ready for several weeks in the wild.- The roof rack includes a spare wheel, a couple of bags, a strip of metal, and a errr... box. - I also did the front to have the re-positioned headlights, however this did require the removal of the sloped front wings.- While the interior is largely the same, I did have to move the seats forward to accommodate the roof design, which also meant re-designing the wheel to be on the dash. - Not an overwhelmingly brilliant new build, but it turned out quite nice nonetheless. I'm even considering making an extended wheel base version of it in future. As for something all new, I've got another Jag in the works... I'd say I've made a new model, but it's more of a modification of an old one.
