Liberty Walk turned Suzuki Jimny into the cutest little G-Wagen
Suzuki's Jimny is a smash hit with consumers and tuners alike, the Jimny was picked up by brands like DAMD and even the Chelsea Truck Company known for its work on luxury SUVs like the Range Rover and Mercedes G-Class.
Now we finally see Liberty Walks kit for the Jimny in the flesh for the first time after it was announced back in August. Japanese tuner that's mostly known for its crazy low & wide super-cars have now turned the Jimny into the cutest little G-Class out there called the Liberty Walk G mini "Works Light body kit" isn't it just adorable?
The LB kit for the Jimny is practically identical to the one the company offers for the bigger G-Class, up front it gets a new bumper and grille, a large LED light bar on the roof and a new black hood with what seems like an air-scoop. Liberty Walk logo is is put in placed where you do normally find the Mercedes star.
The side is adorned by the iconic to LB enlarged fender flares with exposed rivets, the kit also adopts the black roof from the G-Wagen kit. The new larger reportedly come courtesy of Bedlock and are wrapped in Bridgestone off-road tires.
On the back, the resemblance isn't identical but for some reason looks the best to me. Put side-by-side next to the G-Wagen the Jimny manages to look even cuter and better than before. The tiny wheel cover and a tad oversized rear bumper with G-Wagens LED lights are just oh so adorable.
While I love the looks I gotta ask, isn't it all a bit too much in a car that's meant to be a simple, honest and cheap off-roader? While it is adorable I can't help but think I do feel rather silly sitting in something that pretends to be a super-luxury monster while in fact, it's a sub £20,000 with a tiny 1.5-litre engine with a mere 100horsepwrs. What do you think?
