Lil Uzi Vert bought a Bugatti from Floyd Mayweather and did this
Just another unique car added to his very unique collection
You probably already know that Floyd Mayweather is the world’s richest boxer and an avid car collecter. From a Mercedes SLR to a Ferrari Enzo, he has a lot to show for but along with that, he owns multiple Veyrons.
Lil Uzi Vert, maker of classics such as XO Tour Llif3, Money Longer and the album that took 2020 by storm, LUV vs. The World 2, woke up on his birthday thinking of something huge. At midday, he took to Instagram to show off his newest toy, a red and white Bugatti Veyron. Except this particular Veyron was previously owned by the aforementioned Floyd Mayweather. Not only this but, he bought it for an insane $1.7 million, almost half the price of the original car. The car retained its looks for a few months before Uzi decided to switch things up a bit...
The Bugatti when Uzi purchased it
Uzi took his car to his go-to Chop Shop, Car Effex in Sewell, New Jersey. This is where he got his car wrapped to show Spike Spiegel from the animè, Cowboy Bebop, made to resemble the Starboy album cover by The Weeknd. He added a spoiler and some new rims- according to the man in charge of Car Effex, Uzi also added a load of engine upgrades but unfortunately, the specs aren‘t public. In March of 2020, the Bugatti was spotted on a flatbed and caused quite a bit of controversy among gearheads everywhere. This is mainly due to how the wrap takes away from the beauty of this French automobile and the yellow rims do not help that look, in my opinion.
