Listen to the eargasmic N/A V12 of the new Aston Martin Valkyrie in motion!
After what feels like an eternity, we finally get to listen to the 1000bhp N/A V12 engine of the Aston Martin Valkyrie being driven properly!
When Aston Martin "teased" us 4 months ago with awesome footage of the new Valkyrie, one would think all would be fine and dandy. But the geniuses behind the great car also seemed to think that dubbing said video with generic rock music and driving slower than the average Peugeot driver was a good idea... Now, however, they might have redeemed themselves as key Aston Martin figures have been releasing short snippets of the Valkyrie undergoing testing at Silverstone. Short but more glorious than a bald eagle drinking bourbon out of the statue of liberty's goblet, these videos aren't a far cry from amazing. But don't just take my word for it, listen to it yourself!
Before you tell me that the clips are faker than Pamela Anderson's breasts, let me remind you that they are from CEO Andy Palmer, Q Sales boss Simon Lane and Chief Special Operations Officer David King. Giving us much better of an idea of how the Cosworth built V12 sounds like in motion. If you for some reason can't listen to the videos or if you're devoided from the sense of hearing, I can tell you that it sounds absolutely mad! Similar to old F1 cars but I argue with even more oomph, this engine is a masterpiece!
Some of the Valkyrie's best features include the Cosworth Built V12 that produces 1000bhp at 10,500rpm, with an incredible redline at 11,100 rpm. A hybrid system with components supplied and produced by Rimac, adding an additional 160bhp to the already intense setup leading to a grand total of 1160 bhp. And if that wasn't enough it only weighs around 1100kg, giving it more horsepower per kilogram than a malnourished Jeremy Clarkson being fed cold food.
Finally, before you go to a loanshark putting yourself in eternal debt, all of the 150 cars produced by Aston have already been sold out.
