Lister Planning A Comeback, Eyes Pagani & Koenigsegg
Lister plans a Storm III to take on the world's hypercar elite.
Remember Lister? They were the small British outfit that took on the big boys at Le Mans with their odd ball Storm. Then the company disapeared for a while only to resurface recently with some bad ass 666 horsepower modified Jaguars. Lister wants back in the hypercar game and they just teased a rendering of the Storm III.
The Storm II was an insane looking machine that was built for the sole purpose of destroying Le Mans. Several road going models were developed.
Lawrence Whittaker tweated a picture with the tag line "A glimpse into our future." The implication there being Lister is set to release a new V12 hypercar targeting Bugatti top speed with a three second run to 62 mph and a 250+ top speed.
Whittaker wants to develop the company into something rivaling Pagani and Koenigsegg. They reportedly sourced a monstrous Jaguar sourced 7.8 liter V12 to provide the thrust. Jaguar currently does not make a modern V12 so where the theoretical power plant would have to be built from scratch.

It’s a huge task to rival Pagani, especially with that artist named Horacio, but a high bar means a great car is bound to come, so I can’t wait.
