LMP1 vs Formula 1: Which Is Fastest off the Line?
After recovering from swallowing my virtual tongue, I put the 2016 LMP1 cars against each other to see which is fastest and if they can beat Formula 1
The "Spirit of Le Mans" DLC is here and I am in love with it. Giving a guy who watches at least 80% of Le Mans every year a car pack dedicated to the race is the perfect way to build up the next week's race.
After testing the hybrid LMP1's in the pack and having had my mind blown by the speed of these things under full power, I wanted to dig a bit deeper and see just how fast they get from 0-60mph, 0-100mph and 0-150mph, and find out which one is fastest.

After this, I realized that Assetto Corsa actually has both the 2016 Porsche 919 and the 2017 Ferrari SF70H which allowed me to test which is fastest off the line: a Formula 1 car, or an LMP1 car. I had my strong suspicions, of course, but I wanted evidence.
I also wanted to see how much the hybrid affects acceleration, so I took the fastest car from my tests and ran the same test again, only this time with no hybrid assistance.
This is a fairly long article for a short test, so I won't go any further. Enjoy :)
