What. A. Race. I have never been so deeply immersed in a race like this year's edition of Petit Le Mans. From the tight sub 1 second battle between the leading DPis to the constant climb of the GTD Porsches from Wright and Pfaff, this year's Petit Le Mans has been truly one of the best IMSA races, if not the best. But the cream of the crop is definitely the #911 Porsche driven by Matt Campbell, Nick Tandy, and Fred Mackowiecki bringing their first victory of the season home. It has been a hard season for Porsche in IMSA. They had the pace, just failed to materialize it into results. Now finally here we are, another glorious victory at a prestigious American event. Great job Porsche. Even though you guys won't be at IMSA next year, there is no substitute.

  • I was rooting for the heart of racing Aston, but no luck. Great day though, very loud!

    • Damn! That would have been lovely to spend the day on the track! And yes felt quite bad for the Aston, knowing how they were doing so well, both last week and this week, only to be ended in a rather anticlimatic disappointment.

  • And many thanks to an unidentified prototype which sent in the gravel the comfotably leading M8 with just half an hour to go. And big congrats to Laurens Vanthoor for his big shunt,he never defies to show us his incompetence, third crash in two races, amazing rate

    • Ah yes, I can already feel the toxicity and saltiness from here.
