Looks like Tesla is backing off from its plan to close all (or nearly all) retail locations. Last week, the Company announced that it would close most of its stores and transition to exclusively online sales. This plan was designed to lower expenses so as to make the $35,000 profitable. Today, Tesla announced that it will only be closing around half of its stores and raising the prices of most cars by 3%. Super interesting: the price increase will not affect the $35,000 version of the Model 3.
