Mercedes-AMG F1 team

Love is in the air for the guys and gals in Mercedes-AMG F1 team. They are clearly enjoying success and having some fun. Today, the team showcased the 2020 W11 race car and the duo of Hamilton and Bottas seem pretty kicked about it! It sports a shade of red at the top and Vettel thinks the it’s a bit more red than last year. Mercedes-AMG F1 also posted a letter signed by team principal Toto Wolf about excusing the bearer of the said letter from Valentine’s Day duties since they were showcasing the W11! Cheeky!

Promotions by other car makers

If you do not have a date on this special day, some carmakers have an idea for you: take your car on a date and shower it with some TLC or just take a road trip to be one with your car! On a different note, it has become a recent trend for many car manufacturers to promote their cars on special days including Republic Day, Independence Day, Dussera and the most important of all – Deepavali – one of the biggest festivals in India. This is the time you get some great offers and car sales really take off.

This Valentine’s Day, many manufacturers are either giving some service discounts or trying to promote their vehicles through some quirky messages. Here are a few of them:

Hyundai India

The company has launched the WagonR fitted with a BS6 compliant CNG kit, starting at Rs 5.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This follows after the largest carmaker in the country announced its ‘Mission Green Million’ at the Auto Expo 2020, with an aim to sell 1 million green vehicles in the next couple of years. So, if you care about all things green and are looking to buy a budget hatch with a claimed fuel efficiency of 32.52km/kg, buy yourself a WagonR CNG.
