Low stress steel mild supercharged 1959 Buick derived cast iron , and particularly fuel efficient V6 as used in the Aussie Holden, ( '97 - '04 ) Very cheap engine to run in terms of durability, and low price of parts. It's a small , mild supercharger, providing about 25 % extra torque. It's only got 229 BHP. A very sensible, fiscally conservative choice. Mine has over 200,000 miles on the clock. This Holden at it's wisest and most cautious. Happiest at 900 rpm. 8litres/100km hwy. 1730 kg vehicle

  • Pity nobody in OZ is buying the useless things. Holden is on the verge of bankruptcy in Oz for trying to sell substandard vehicles and not supporting their disgruntled owners. Let's just ignore their silly promo-handouts shall we ?
